ABOUT THE PROPOSAL

Kenisha and Emmanuel arrived in Cyprus for a quiet escape before the holiday season. They flew from the United Kingdom and checked into the Alion Beach Hotel in Ayia Napa, one of the most refined five star hotels on the island. November in Cyprus is calm and unhurried. The sea turns a deeper shade of blue and the palm trees move slowly in the soft wind. It was the ideal setting for what would become one of the most meaningful milestones in their story.

Emmanuel had planned a proposal on the grounds of the hotel, overlooking the shoreline. The light shifted into a warm late afternoon glow and the terrace was almost silent except for the sound of the waves. When he asked, Kenisha said yes and the emotion between them was immediate and real. Documenting moments like these is a privilege. The connection they share is evident in every frame.

After the proposal we walked together through the gardens and towards the coastline for their engagement session. The Alion offers a mix of landscaped paths, Mediterranean textures, and open sea views which created a natural atmosphere for portraits. Kenisha and Emmanuel moved through each scene with ease and sincerity. Their joy was calm and confident. They held each other. They laughed. They paused and simply took in the moment.

The hotel architecture and the quiet beach gave us variety while remaining true to the environment in which the proposal happened.
